Our two thousand square foot exercise room features a superbly cushioned hardwood floor and is fully air-conditioned. Our top of the line sound system provides amazing sound quality for all group fitness classes. All group fitness classes are included in most memberships at no extra charge.
**If the ACSU school district is closed due to inclement weather, all group classes are automatically canceled. If there is a delay, only group classes during the delay are canceled.
The fastest way to shape up and lose body fat. Body Pump is a toning and conditioning class with weights and is for just about everybody. Its perfect for both males and females who want to add strength training to their aerobic workout. The simplicity of this class makes it great for everyone!
A physical and spiritual class dedicated to improving strength and flexibility while reducing stress by utilizing a variety of yoga styles. Taught by the very experience instructors of the Green Mountain School of Yoga.
Pilates uses the abdomen, lower back and buttocks as a power center, enabling the rest of the body to move freely, thus emphasizing body alignment while incorporating correct breathing. A series of controlled exercises performed with great concentration, all muscle groups are lengthened, which leaves you feeling invigorated and “lifted”.
Warm up in the multi-purpose room then begin a variety of exercises incorporating floor aerobics, weights flexibility and balance. Finish with a long relaxing stretch. This class is appropriate for the “mature” population or those just beginning an exercise program.
A fabulous non-impact class in our body soothing 83 degree Olympic pool! A great class for all fitness levels and those recovering from injuries. The arthritis aqua class is similar to the aqua aerobic but adheres to the guidelines of the American Arthritis Foundation.
A high energy and motivating class that combines latin music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to have fun while enjoying aerobic/fitness interval training through a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.
Using your body weight as natural resistance, there is no choreography to learn as you move to strengthen your muscles, increase your stamina, and get flexibility training in one class.
A complete workout targeting all major muscle groups using hand weights and resistaballs. The emphasis is on a smaller number of repetitions with a choice of increasingly heavy weights, to build bone density and strength. Beginners are always welcome.
Individualized instruction is always available for the participant who needs assistance learning basic moves on the step, floor or spin bikes. Please ask at the front desk and an appointment will be made for you.
