TABATA HIIT CLASS @ VERGENNES MOVEMENT WITH KATHY ROSSIER
Tues/Fri @ 6:30 a.m.-7:00 a.m.
Sat@ 8:00 a.m.
Tabata interval training is one of the most effective types of high intensity interval training Each 30 minute class consists of a variety of simple, yet intense exercises performed for 20 seconds followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 sets ( 4 minutes). After a one minute rest another 4 minute cycle is performed for a total of 5 different cycles. Many exercises will use just body weight, but additional tools such as hand weights, stability balls, and gliding mats may be used. Class will end with a short cool down and stretch. This protocol improves both aerobic and anaerobic systems, boosting metabolism long after the class is over.
Examples of exercises include: burpees, planks, reverse curls, squat jumps, lunges, skaters, mountain climbers, scissors, hip extensions, wipers, push ups.

We have a new exciting class starting Wednesday, November 1st at 6:15 am. Empowerment Movement. A group boot camp class that will help improve overall strength and conditioning in a fun and motivating way! Join instructor and Certified Personal Trainer Tom Wiegleb Wednesdays at 6:15 am!
We will be starting our Fall hours Sunday October 1st. We will be open 7:30-6:00pm on the weekends.
Don't forget we have 2 new classes starting this week. Cardio fusion with Meg Meyer on Mondays 5:30-6:30pm and Zumba is back with Maryann Boyd on Thursdays 5:30-6:30pm.
