CHILDREN’S CENTER

The purpose of Vermont Sun Children’s Center is to provide a quality program for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, fostering social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative development through enriching experiences and positive relationships.

CHILDREN’S CENTER
Children's Center
AGES: 6 WEEKS – 5 YEARS

All of the children are divided into age-appropriate groups, taking into account individual development. Each group will has a team of two teachers and may have extra help from work-study students, college students, volunteers, and student teachers.

Children learn through play
The curriculum is a combination of teacher-directed and child-directed learning experiences, combined within a multi-sensory, hands on approach. Children learn by using all of their five senses to explore the world around them and to develop an increased ability to think, reason, question and experiment. Children learn how to follow directions as well as how to make their own choices; and they learn in an environment rich in language development.
